Heidi Lowell, President and Founder
With over 20 years in public relations, Heidi Lowell has worked with some of the most prestigious PR agencies in both the U.S. and Europe. With a resume ranging from entertainment to high technology PR, Heidi brings a unique perspective, style and humor to Liaison Public Relations and its clients.
"PR is an intricate part of the foundation of any company. It tells your story," explains Heidi. "From strategic planning to media interaction, the process is similar to compiling a puzzle. You have to bring everything together in order to build success and create an amazing picture!"
Heidi began her career at Rogers & Cowan, promoting films from renowned production companies such as Miramax, MGM, New Line Cinema and Orion Films. Moving into technology, Heidi joined Waggener Edstrom and was part of the original team that launched Microsoft Windows 95 in the United States, which led her to London's Text 100, where she helped manage the Windows 95 launch in the U.K. Heidi was also part of the team that managed Cisco Systems' PR across Europe.
Merging her film and technology experience, Heidi then joined Mackenzie Kesselring to manage the Microsoft Softimage account. She started working as an independent contractor and founded Liaison Public Relations in March 1998.
A true Portlander, but quick to claim her Montana origin, Heidi's strong work ethic, authenticity, values and quirky humor have set the foundation of Liaison's renowned, charismatic and down-to-earth culture. As the mother of two, Heidi is always on the run! She can be seen frequenting her favorite local haunts or out on a run with her trusty sidekick, Dakota – a loyal Australian Shepherd and official Liaison mascot.
